Nordic BioAnalyis is located in the vibrant biotech cluster Biovation park in Södertälje, Sweden. The company was founded in 2010 with focus on analytical services, manufacturing solutions and stability studies. We currently possess 200 m2 laboratory space, with excellent opportunities for expansion. We are proud of our experienced team with passion for quality and analytical techniques.

Nordic BioAnalysis' team includes specialists in analytical chemistry microbiology molecular biology quality systems
The NBAB team combines deep scientific knowledge with hands-on experience in performing complex analytical methods. Our scientists have backgrounds in Microbiology, chemistry, and regulatory science, with expertise in method development, validation, and sample analysis.
With a strong foundation in quality systems, project management, and client collaboration, we ensure reliable results, clear communication, and full regulatory compliance — from feasibility to market authorization.

Meet Our CEO – Leo Groenewegen
Leo Groenewegen serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Nordic BioAnalysis AB (NBAB), a position he assumed in September 2022.
Leo brings more than a decade of leadership experience across life sciences, biotech, and foodtech roles. Before joining NBAB, he held executive roles at firms including IQVIA (formerly IMS Health), NextCell Pharma (as CFO), Orange Light Ventures, and co-founded CellulaREvolution (as CEO) —a scaled-up foodtech venture in cultivated meat.
Under his leadership, NBAB’s mission is growth-driven with a focus expand its business while retaining the agility, precision, and client focus valued so dearly by our customers.
His commercial and strategic acumen has been essential in guiding NBAB’s deep analytical capabilities across small and large molecules, ATMPs, and microbial or live-based therapeutics.
